Library Promotion of ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor Identifier) and Faculty Application Assistance

【 Introduction to ORCID Services 】

The Library promotes ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor Identifier) and assists faculty members with the application process.

ORCID stands for Open Researcher and Contributor ID. It is an independent, non-profit, community-driven, and interdisciplinary organization that provides research scholars with a unique, permanent identifier. This identifier serves as an academic identity card number. By specifying their ORCID during manuscript submissions, grant applications, and various research workflows, researchers can simplify the submission process, increase the visibility of their research outputs, and enhance search discoverability. It also assists research personnel in correctly linking various forms of publications and academic research outcomes across web resources and different communities, fully presenting their academic contributions and achievements.
