A wildly chaotic comic book packed with clever gags.

Dr. Lin Tzu-yao utilizes four-panel comics to depict the panic, confusion, bittersweet struggles, and hilarious adventures of a group of medical interns navigating the White Tower.

The book reveals the behind-the-scenes stories of doctors and nursing staff, tracing their path from training to actual clinical work. By showcasing the "human" side of medical professionals, it highlights the daily realities of grassroots healthcare workers under Taiwan's current medical system. Blending Taiwanese cultural customs, trending news, and current events, the book sketches a vivid portrait of the hardworking "little worker ants" at the base of the White Tower. Through these stories, the author hopes to give a voice to Taiwan's grassroots medical staff and awaken public awareness to the vital importance of fixing Taiwan's collapsing healthcare system.

A Word from Liang De-Yuan (Liang Yuan):

Hello readers, nice to meet you for the first time. I am Liang Yuan, and I love drawing comics more than anything. This four-panel short comic collection is the very first comic work of my life. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Lin Tzu-yao for giving me the opportunity to assist in its production, and I hope to create even better works in the future.

It wasn't until I started working on this comic that I realized how incredibly difficult it is to be a healthcare professional in a hospital! Behind many of these amusing plotlines lie the real blood, sweat, and tears of their daily routines. Through this comic, I hope those of us outside the medical field can better understand and appreciate the hard work and plight of medical personnel. If I were to recommend this book myself, I would say: "Guaranteed that after reading this, you won't want to be a doctor at all!"

Finally, I hope this comic brings everyone laughter and joy!
