After reading this book, you will never be afraid of the dentist again!
A twisted, bizarre, and fantastical dental journey is about to begin!
Now, please relax, sit back in the dental chair, and
"Ah~ please open your mouth!"
If there is a list of things people fear most in life, seeing the dentist is definitely near the top.
If there is someone in the world people least want to see, the dentist must be one of them...
The gumline of a ten-year-old girl was piled high with dental calculus, thick as a city wall, looking at first glance like buff-colored paper clay pasted on her teeth. Unbelievably, the culprit turned out to be her father...
A young patient had a brownish-yellow band across his teeth with a faint fluorescent hue. Based on this, Chang Chao could actually deduce that the patient had been severely ill during childhood. No way, can a dentist tell fortunes too?
A teenage girl with her mouth full of crimson gums would bleed at the slightest touch, a condition that had lasted for two years. Her teeth were brushed impeccably clean, and no calculus had accumulated along the margins. Could the cause of this massive bleeding be hormonal imbalance?
A beautiful woman, who seemed almost flawless, possessed a perfect set of teeth that moved even the dentist to tears. However, upon seeing her again after a long absence, her teeth had suffered severe acid erosion, and the cause turned out to be "a broken heart"?
As long as we are human, there are always moments when we bare our teeth in unbearable agony, and the vast majority of people dread or even detest going to the dentist. But dental care is actually not as terrifying as you think; with the right concepts, everyone can have healthy and beautiful teeth.
Famous for writing novels, Chang Chao’s "day job" is actually being an experienced dentist. Feeling that ordinary people's knowledge of dental care is terrifyingly incorrect, he utilizes his storytelling talent to explain things in the simplest and most accessible way. Only Chang Chao could manage to write about dental procedures in a way that is as gripping as a detective novel!
