Notice: Library Clearance Procedures for Graduating Students (AY 2024)

Graduating students of MacKay Medical College must complete the following library clearance procedures before leaving the school:

I. Undergraduate Students 

Please log in to the Library Patron Record Query System to confirm that all borrowed library materials have been returned and all overdue fines have been paid. If you have outstanding items or fines, please clear them by June 14, 2025 (Saturday).

1. Book Returns: Please drop your books into the Book Drop or send them to the library via registered mail.

2. Overdue Fines: Fines can be paid at the Library Circulation Desk from Monday to Friday, 08:00–12:00 and 13:00–17:00. If you cannot pay in person, you may pay via bank transfer. Please contact the Library Desk at (02) 2636-0303 ext. 1164 for the bank account details.

II. Graduate Students 

• Thesis/Dissertation Upload Deadline: August 24, 2025 (Sunday)
• Library Clearance Submission Deadline: September 1, 2025 (Monday)

1. Extension for Delayed Graduation: Students who are unable to graduate this semester for any reason and wish to extend their borrowing privileges must visit the Library 2nd Floor Circulation Desk in person to apply.
2. Thesis Submission Process:
   • Step 1: Log in to the school's Electronic Theses & Dissertations System, enter your thesis metadata, and upload the full-text electronic file.
   • Step 2: Wait for library review and approval (this takes approximately 2 to 3 working days).
   • Step 3: After approval, submit 2 printed copies of your thesis and 2 original copies of the "Thesis/Dissertation Copyright License Agreement" (printed from Step 3 of the upload system) to the Library Circulation Desk.
