National Central Library "Thesis Similarity Detection System" Free Trial Until Aug 31

Trial Period
The National Central Library (NCL) "Thesis Similarity Detection System" is now available from today until August 31, 2025 (Sunday), providing thesis and dissertation similarity check services for graduating master's and doctoral students.

System Introduction
Commissioned by the Ministry of Education, this system was co-developed by the National Central Library and the technical team from National Taiwan Normal University. Its primary goal is to assist graduate students in verifying the originality of their theses, preventing improper citation, or plagiarism.

The system's core comparison database is the "Taiwan Electronic Theses and Dissertations System", which covers both publicly available and restricted master’s and doctoral theses within Taiwan. It supports comparison in Chinese, English, and multiple languages, serving as an auxiliary management tool for domestic theses for optional use by students, rather than a mandatory requirement.
