  • Citation
  • Reference
  • Dynamic People Pages
  • Article Retractions

The table below outlines the current EBSCO AI tools and their usage requirements for your reference. More detailed information can also be found in the attached document:

Overview of EBSCO AI Tools and Usage Requirements

English Name Chinese Name Description Usage Requirements
AI Insight AI見解 Generates 2–5 key bullet-point summaries for full-text articles. This quickly helps users determine if an article matches their research topic, improving efficiency and accuracy. Available free of charge for institutions subscribing to full-text databases through CONCERT in 2026.
Natural Language Search (NLS) 自然語言搜尋 Allows you to search using language that is closer to everyday phrasing, presenting more precise search results. Available free of charge for institutions subscribing to full-text databases through CONCERT in 2026.
Citation 引文發現 Through traditional searching, a user finds an article relevant to her research project. Powered by the scholarly graph, the user can instantly view other literature that cites this important article. With just a click of a button, researchers can discover studies that build upon, discuss, or even refute the findings of the original paper. Limited to Ultimate version subscribers and EDS (EBSCO Discovery Service) users.
Reference 參考文獻 After finding an article of interest, the scholarly graph connects to the papers or works cited by the author. This allows users to immediately discover other authoritative and influential research outcomes. Limited to Ultimate version subscribers and EDS (EBSCO Discovery Service) users.
Dynamic People Pages (Expected launch after Jan 2026) 人物頁面 The scholarly graph connects papers to authors, and further links them to co-authors and research topics. Through the scholarly graph, researchers can view author information to discover their frequent collaborators, other publications, and affiliated institutions. These connections enable researchers to explore more topics, publications, and collaborative researchers. Limited to Ultimate version subscribers and EDS (EBSCO Discovery Service) users.
Article Retractions 撤稿資訊 This feature clearly marks retracted or corrected literature within search results, detailed article pages, and citation lists. It helps users quickly identify sources that may have research integrity issues. This design further enhances information retrieval quality, reduces the risk of accidentally citing retracted articles, and increases the transparency and credibility of research support provided by libraries or information units to their users. Limited to Ultimate version subscribers and EDS (EBSCO Discovery Service) users.

Meanwhile, the Citation, Reference, and Article Retractions features have already been integrated and displayed within EDS. You are more than welcome to forward this information to your readers so they can make full use of these features.

To test the Article Retractions feature, you can search using the keyword "retracted", and the relevant content will appear.
