"Reading Wave" 2026 Summer Borrowing Challenge

1. Target Participants: Current students, full-time faculty and staff, and full-time research assistants of MMC.
2. Event Period: May 25 (Mon) to August 12 (Wed), 2026
3. Event Rules:
(1) Activity 1: Physical Book Borrowing Challenge
The event period coincides with the summer vacation long-term borrowing period. The maximum borrowing limit for students' physical books will be increased to 20 volumes. The top three readers who borrow the highest number of physical books will be ranked and rewarded.

(2) Activity 2: E-Book Borrowing Challenge
Log in to the "iRead E-Book Platform," "HyRead E-Book Platform," or "udn E-Library Platform" using your Portal account and password to borrow e-books.
The total number of e-books borrowed across these three platforms combined will be calculated to reward the top three readers. (In the event of a tie in the number of books borrowed, priority will be given to the reader who reached that number first.)

  The top three winners will be selected from Activity 1 and Activity 2 respectively:
